Partners include Dover District Council, Kent County Council, Kent Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Bournemouth University, C3 Collaborating for Health, Wellbeing People and Your Leisure.
There are ASPIRE hubs in Medway, Bournemouth and across northern France.
Where is the ASPIRE East Kent hub?
The East Kent ASPIRE hub is based at Bechange in Aylesham:

The project offers support for those who do not have their own transport to get to Aylesham.
Improving health and wellbeing. Building skills and confidence for employment.
ASPIRE is for you if:
- you are over 18
- you are unemployed, a job seeker or in temporary insecure work
- and you would like to improve your health and wellbeing, and lose weight
Activities include:
- Growing your own vegetables
- Beekeeping
- Healthy cookery courses
- NHS One You Weight Loss programme
- Exercise and activity classes
- Healthy walks
- Leisure centre membership
- Accredited training courses
- Job application and CV workshops
- Job interview practice
How does ASPIRE work?


After an appointment with an ASPIRE co-ordinator to discuss your goals you can plan a pathway that suits you over a period of about 12 weeks.
You can take part in as much or as little as you wish to help you progress on the ASPIRE Participation Ladder.
How much does it cost?
All activities at the centre are provided free for registered participants of ASPIRE who meet the eligibility criteria.
The project even offers support to get to the East Kent Hub at Bechange in Aylesham for those who do not have their own transport.
