Slow Cooking and Winter well-being
With rising costs and dropping temperatures, this programme aims to support participants to make healthy meals on a budget during the winter months.
‘Slow Cooking and Winter Wellbeing’ consists of 2 mornings of 41/2 hours each. Both weeks include a hands-on cookery class, discussions on healthy eating and well-being, shopping for food on a budget, and tips for keeping warm over winter.
There will also be an opportunity to make a quick, confidential snapshot of your physical mental, and emotional health via the Interactive Health Kiosk, and a chance to learn gardening skills with a light practical planting session during the second week.
All cooking ingredients and materials will be provided, and participants will be invited to take away slow cookers at the end of the course!
